NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - We all know Shake Shack for their famous burgers, and now the chain is bringing its signature taste into new territory with a chicken sandwich.
The result? The Chicken Shack. A cage-free, hormone-free chicken breast cooked in buttermilk, dredged in seasoned flour, deep fried to perfection, topped with pickles, shredded lettuce, and tangy herb buttermilk mayo sauce, and served on a soft potato bun.
After a successful summer test run in Brooklyn, the sandwich is now an official part of the Shake Shack menu. The chain has been doing very well with a valuation over $1 billion, and the company's stock was up Thursday. So, we'll have to see how this new menu item impacts its bottom line.
