New Jersey voters went to the polls to pick their party's candidates in 12 U.S. House races and to have their voices heard in a set of presidential primaries that appear to have already been wrapped up. Donald Trump has won the GOP presidential primary, while Hillary Clinton won the Democratic race.

The state's closed primary is among the last contests before this summer's party conventions.

Polls in New Jersey were open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Results will be reported here.

The presumptive Republican and Democratic presidential nominees, Trump and Clinton, have already rounded up the number of delegates needed to clinch their nominations.

Republican Gov. Chris Christie and former Gov. Donald DiFrancesco are among the delegates listed for Trump.

Former Gov. Christie Todd Whitman is a delegate for Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who left the race in May.

The general election for President of the United States is Tuesday, Nov. 8.
