Photo shows spider baked into cookie

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - A photo is circulating on social media of a bug baked into a vanilla wafer cookie.

In a photo posted to Twitter by Eric Sowa, a spider is embedded in the cookie which was reportedly purchased at an Aldi grocery store in Lindenhurst, Long Island.

Multiple reports indicate that Aldi offered Sowa a $5 coupon as compensation.

The company reportedly called it an "isolated incident" and are investigating the matter.
