That former President Barack Obama and former Vice President Joe Biden have a special relationship is no secret. Over the course of two terms in office, the pair often raved about their close friendship—an apparent rarity among many other POTUS and VPOTUS duos throughout White House history.

Their "bromance" was fodder for hundreds of hilarious memes on social media. And now the former president is getting in on the joke.

Obama's official Twitter account tweeted a meme Monday, November 20, 2017, Biden's 75th birthday:

All jokes aside, their warm relationship is real, according to many news reports over the years. Obama gave the eulogy at the funeral of Beau Biden, the former VP's son, who died in 2015.

"To Joe and Jill –- just like everybody else here, Michelle and I thank God you are in our lives. Taking this ride with you is one of the great pleasures of our lives," Obama said during the eulogy. "Joe, you are my brother. And I'm grateful every day that you've got such a big heart, and a big soul, and those broad shoulders."
