NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - A newsstand went up in smoke in Midtown Manhattan on Christmas eve. It happened at 42nd St. and 5th Ave. about 4:15 p.m.
The FDNY says the small stand was unoccupied when the fire broke out and there were no injuries but it created a scene for tourists in the area.
