Sleeping man run over on Coney Island beach
A man who was laying in the sand died after he was run over by a park vehicle.
NEW YORK - A man was run over and killed by a Parks Department truck while he slept on a Brooklyn beach.
It happened just before 3 a.m. on Coney Island Beach.
The NYPD says the man was laying on the sand when the truck ran over him near Stillwell Ave.
The victim's identity was not immediately available. The driver was being interviewed by New York City police as part of the investigation.
