NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - A man was shot at 13th St. and Gansevoort in Manhattan's Meatpacking district after a dispute over a parking spot.
It happened early Tuesday morning. Police say that a man in a BMW and a man in a grey minivan got into the dispute. The man in the minivan pulled out a gun and shot the BMW driver.
Police say the man then backed the minivan into the car a few times before driving away. The victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital with gunshot wounds to the arm and leg.
The NYPD said it was looking for a black man with a thin build, a beard and wearing a fitted cap long dark colored jacket. They say he left the scene in a minivan with New York plates. They said it possibly had damage from hitting the victim's car.
