NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - A man with nearly $100,000 was robbed at gunpoint at a Bronx motel. It happened early Monday morning after a night with three women who were described as prostitutes.
The 30-year-old victim reportedly had recently collected the money from a lawsuit and decided to celebrate with hookers at the Van Cortland Motel on Broadway with the money stuffed in a suitcase.
They went into a room at about 10 a.m. On Monday, just before 7 a.m. two men entered the room, displayed a gun and forcibly grabbed the man's bag with $96,000 inside. They jumped into a black minivan parked nearby and drove off.
The alleged prostitutes also left and now the NYPD is looking for the women and armed men.
The individuals are described as follows:
-Female, Hispanic, early 20s; last seen wearing a blue and white jacket with a pink mini dress
-Female, Hispanic, 20 to 30; last seen wearing a black coat brown hat, and brown pants
-Female, Hispanic, 20 to 30; last seen wearing a black dress, black jacket, and leg high black boots
-Male, last seen wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and mask
-Male, last seen wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and mask

The victim was not hurt in the incident.
