Ken Burns discusses new film 'Jackie Robinson'

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - In a society that's so heavily reliant on race and yet retreats at the mere mention, filmmaker Ken Burns is, well, different.

Burns has made a living telling stories about American history. On this day, we talked about race, politics and his new film "Jackie Robinson," which will be out in April.

As baseball season approaches it might be worthwhile recognizing the only player with a retired number in every stadium. Jackie Robinson stood tall against resistance and understood the obligation that came with breaking the games color barrier.
