Gas prices tumble

Do you see $1.47 on the board you can't help but think of where we were a couple of years ago, when we were paying $4 for a gallon of gas? In New Jersey, where gas is traditionally cheaper, finding anything over $2 is hard.

Across the country gas prices have fallen nearly every day for the last two months. As of Monday, the national average for a gallon of regular is $1.96, the cheapest since 2009.

Kathleen Lewis with AAA says well we won't likely reach the dollar mark everyone is hoping for, but she does expect gas prices to continue to drop, maybe one or two cents every couple of days. And after a season of expensive gift giving, as drivers we will take what we can get.
