Flatiron building's tribute to Paris

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - "She is tossed by waves but does not sink." That is the message projected over an image of the Eiffel Tower onto the Flatiron Building. The tribute to Paris and the terror attack victims will be displayed 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. through Saturday.

This phrase is the motto of Paris. It is translated as "Elle est agitée par les vagues, et ne sombre pas." 129 people were killed last Friday night in multiple terror attacks throughout the city. The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
