Fallen NYPD officer honored in hometown

An NYPD officer killed in the line of duty last May has been immortalized in the town where he grew up and lived.

Officials and residents of Oyster Bay in Nassau County held a memorial service and unveiled a statue in memory of detective Brian Moore.
The 25 year-old was killed in Queens Village while trying to stop a man with a gun while on patrol.
Officials say the statue will also serve to honor the memories of those who made the ultimate sacrifice while defending this nation.
