Disney's rising star Sofia Carson

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - One of Disney's fresh faces and quickly becoming a household name is Sofia Carson.

The Miami native is starring in the remake of the movie, "Adventures in Babysitting."

"It's more exciting than anything else. We're introducing it to a whole new generation," said Carson.

The actress shares the screen with Sabrina Carpenter. The duo even hold a rap battle.

"It was a really cool experience to rap," said Carson.

'Adventures in Babysitting' opens June 24.
