Devo singer has 9/11-themed wedding

Jerry Casale, 67, co-founder of the rock group Devo, was married to his 26-year-old fiance in a 9/11-themed wedding. Photos obtained by TMZ show the happy couple flanked by friends, a Twin Towers replica cake and box cutter knives as favors for guests.

The wedding was held on the 14th anniversary of the attacks in order prevent the marriage license from expiring, reported TMZ.

Casale told the celebrity gossip site that the theme was not his idea, but that of a friend who brought the cake and the box cutters.

Nearly 3,000 people were killed during the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, mostly from the attack on and collapse of the Twin Towers in Lower Manhattan.
