Cohen secretly taped Trump talking Playboy model payments: Report

President Donald Trump's ex-lawyer, Michael Cohen, secretly recorded Trump talking about hush money paid to a former Playboy model, the New York Times reported Friday.

The FBI reportedly seized the recording during a raid on Cohen's office in April.

The woman, Karen McDougal, has said she was paid $150,000 in 2006 for her silence about their alleged affair that she said lasted one year.

Trump's current lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, confirmed the existence of the recording to the Times. Giuliani said the recording, which was less than two minutes long, exonerates him by showing the payment was not made.

Trump told Cohen if he did make a payment to do it by check so it could be documented.

Cohen's attorney, Lanny Davis, declined to comment to the Times.
