5 cars set on fire on Long Island

At least five cars were set on fire in Elmont, Long Island early Thursday morning, according to Nassau County Police.

The arson took place within a three- block radius beginning at about 3:45 a.m.

The last car to be ignited was reported at 5 a.m.

The cars were found on Atherton Ave., Stone St., and Terrace Ave.

Police are investigating.
