NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Two workers at a high-rise building on 98th St. and Lexington Ave. in Manhattan were rescued from a collapsed scaffolding Friday morning.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene at about 10:15 a.m. where the scaffold could be seen hanging from one end high above the street below.
The workers were reportedly brought into the apartment building through a window.
It is not clear if there were any injuries.
Last Tuesday, two window washers who were stuck inside a scaffold dangling nearly 17 stories above Lower Manhattan had to be rescued by emergency personnel including one who rappelled down to them.
