Green grades for buildings | Climate and Consequence

New York City's restaurants and coffee shops already bear letter grades. But soon large commercial and residential buildings will begin posting their own ratings indicating how green they are. The letter grades will be required for about 40,000 buildings that measure 25,000 square feet and up. A company called EnergyStar issues the grades through the EPA based on data the building owners have to submit.
