Alabama's abortion ban

Alabama has passed an almost-total ban on abortions. The new law criminalizes performing an abortion. But the law is unenforceable, which the bill's sponsors knew going in. Their stated purpose is to get the U.S. Supreme Court to reconsider Roe vs. Wade.
