Police said a 25-year-old man was arrested Thursday after they said he was found by a woman crouching in the backseat of her car. Anthony Flor was charged with entering motor vehicle with the intent to commit a theft or felony.

It happened at the T.J. Maxx located on Woodward Crossing Boulevard in Buford just after 6 p.m. Tuesday. A woman had just returned from shopping inside the store for about 40 minutes. When she got into her car, police said the woman looked in her rearview mirror and saw the Atlanta man staring back at her from her backseat.

"The suspect possibly entered her car through the open sunroof of her vehicle, because she said all of her doors were locked," said Corporal Michelle Pihera.

The woman immediately got out of her SUV and started screaming for someone to dial 911.

Scuffs and marks inside the car seem to indicate the man entered the locked car through the open sunroof. Police said they were able to pull several prints from the car.

Investigators questioned Flor and determined they had enough evidence to arrest him. He was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail.

The woman was not injured during the incident.
