Manager attacked at NJ McDonald's drive-thru
BERKELEY, N.J. (AP) -- Police in New Jersey are searching for two men who they say attacked McDonald's employees after a dispute about a drive-thru order.
Authorities say the attack happened at a Berkeley McDonald's around 11:30 p.m. Sunday. Police say two men approached a manager at the drive-thru window and banged on the door after receiving their food.
Authorities say the suspects refused the manager's offer to give them a refund the following day and attacked him through the drive-thru window. Police say the manager's hand was caught in the door when he tried closing the window.
Authorities say another employee was slashed on his wrist when he confronted the two men near their car.
The manager was treated for a broken wrist and the second employee needed stitches.
An investigation is ongoing.
