Concert noise complaints from miles away

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say hundreds of people complained that DJ music at a central New York nightclub was too loud, with some of the complaints coming from miles away.

The Post-Standard of Syracuse reports that some people posted on social media that their homes were shaking from a DJ concert held Tuesday night at the F Shed at the Regional Market in Syracuse.

The Onondaga County 911 emergency center says it received complaints from people living several miles away in the city's northern suburbs.

The nightclub's promoters have said noise issues in suburban Baldwinsville have pushed them to book their bigger shows at the F Shed, where there aren't any decibel limits.

F Shed's website says it's an indoor-outdoor venue that is completely enclosed and temperature-controlled during the colder months.
