Meteorologist Mike Woods says the sun will be making a comeback today at least for a little while. Clouds will return later this afternoon and showers will move in later tonight. Most of the showers will be rain, but there will be some wintry mix for a while in our northwestern regions. Today's highs will be in the mid-40s. Expect showers tonight with lows dropping into the upper 30s. Showers will last into Thursday, then gradually clear out as much colder returns to the tri-state for the end of the week.
