Voters at the polls on Election Day

Millions of Americans came to polling sites across the country on Tuesday to cast their ballots in a crucial test of President Trump's power and influence. Some voters lined up before the sun rose, some stood for hours or braved pouring rain or snow to vote in an election that will determine control of Congress and render a verdict on Trump's first two years in office.
