Trump protesters and supporters

On his first visit home to New York City since taking office, President Donald Trump was greeted with boos and jeers, in what some fellow New Yorkers called an "unwelcome home" party. A crowd of hundreds began lining 12th Avenue in the late afternoon and grew as Trump's motorcade approached. Christine Martin of Manhattan said her message to President Trump was: "You are not welcome here, we do not accept your policy, you do not represent us."
