Police: 2 teens murdered on Long Island

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - Two Brentwood, Long Island, teenagers were killed in a possible gang-related attack, authorities said. Their bodies were found a day apart in the same area.

Police officers found the body of Nisa Mickens, 15, on Stahley Street in Brentwood just after 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. She had suffered lacerations and head injuries, police said. Mickens was last seen with Kayla Cuevas, 16, who was reported missing.

Then at about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, a body was found in a wooded area near where Mickens was found dead. That body fits the description of Cuevas.

Police have not arrested any suspects.
