5,000 expected at secretive, all-white party 'Diner en Blanc'

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - The only thing attendees to a secretive, all-white party will know in advance is that it will be held in Manhattan on Thursday night.

'Diner en Blanc' is in its sixth year in New York City. This time around celebrity Chef Todd English will be cranking out entrees from four separate menus for some 5,000 guests.

"It’s a great festival of fun, food and friends going out. It’s such a great time. Celebrate over a great meal and meeting new people and friends," said English.

The dinner begins at approximately 6:30 p.m. Pre-registered guests will not know the location until minutes before the event.

All attendees must wear white and bring their own table and chairs.

Cost is $37 per person.
