Heavy rain moves out of Tri-State area as clearer weather approaches
A severe morning storm dumped heavy rainfall across the Tri-State area, with some communities in Connecticut and New Jersey receiving up to eight and a half inches of rain. While the primary storm system has pushed off the New England coast, mild and humid conditions will remain overnight before clearer weather moves in tomorrow.
