Jury deliberations underway in deadly Long Island nail salon crash trial

Jury deliberations are officially underway in the trial of 66-year-old Steven Schwally, the Dix Hills man accused of driving drunk and ramming his SUV into the Hawaii Nail and Spa in Deer Park, Long Island, a catastrophic June 2024 crash that resulted in nine injuries and four tragic fatalities, including off-duty NYPD officer Emilia Rennhack, salon owner Jiancai Chen and employees Meizi Zhang and Yan Xu.
