Westchester County police facing officer shortage, union says public safety at risk

The Westchester County police union is warning that the public's safety is at risk because of a shortage of officers in leadership positions. Officials say they've pulled captains, lieutenants and sergeants from safety assignments like schools and airports, just to maintain minimum patrol levels.
