Mayor Mamdani will not join protests during Netanyahu's visit to UN

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced he will not attend any protests while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in the city for the United Nations General Assembly. Mamdani emphasized his focus will remain on the city but also promises that New Yorkers' First Amendment rights to demonstrate will be respected.
