World Cup fever hits NYC as massive line forms for limited-edition jerseys

World Cup fever is taking over New York City as hundreds of fans lined up outside the CityStore in Lower Manhattan for limited-edition New York City-inspired soccer jerseys. The jerseys were designed and made in Brooklyn, sold at cost and created as a more affordable way for New Yorkers to celebrate the 2026 FIFA World Cup. FOX 5 also looks ahead to the USMNT’s opener against Paraguay and the first New York, New Jersey match between Brazil and Morocco.
