Cool and damp conditions expected as summer gives way to fall

A soggy weather pattern will persist across the tri-state area, bringing cloudy skies, continued chances of rain and breezy conditions with gusts up to 20 mph. Temperatures will remain in the 60s and 70s as summer officially ends on Monday and autumn arrives on Tuesday.
