Trump and McConnell

Standing side by side in the Rose Garden, President Trump and Mitch McConnell announced their relationship is solid. Trump also responded to criticism that he has not spoken about or called the families of four U.S. soldiers killed in an ambush in Niger. He claimed Obama and other predecessors didn't call the families if fallen troops. But that is not true. Obama and his predecessors did call and/or write to Gold Star families.
