Adams issues executive orders ahead of Mamdani's inauguration

Mayor Eric Adams has issued several executive orders before Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani takes office in January. One prohibits the city from making business or pension investment decisions that discriminate against Israel, the other directs the NYPD commissioner to evaluate proposals that would block protests from happening close to houses of worship.
