Community demands action after dog attacks on UWS
Tensions boiled over at a town hall meeting on the Upper West Side after new video surfaced of a brutal dog attack involving two pit bulls and a 10-year-old Chihuahua named Penny. Residents say it's not the first time the same dogs have attacked, pointing to a similar incident in January that left another small dog dead. With the pit bulls still roaming the neighborhood, community members and Councilwoman Gale Brewer are now pushing for a change to state law that would criminalize dog-on-dog attacks. FOX 5’s Richard Giacovas reports from the Goddard Community Center.
