UWS service dog mauled by pit bulls

A violent dog attack on the Upper West Side has left a 10-year-old chihuahua named Penny with serious injuries — and now calls for criminal charges are growing. Surveillance videos show two pit bulls mauling the small service dog as their owners failed to intervene. One Good Samaritan was reportedly dragged into the street while trying to help.
