Gene Hackman's cause of death revealed

New details have emerged regarding the deaths of legendary actor Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy, after their bodies were found days apart in their New Mexico home. According to a medical examiner’s report, Hackman died from heart disease, with Alzheimer’s disease listed as a contributing factor. Betsy, 30 years younger than Hackman, had been his primary caregiver.
