Paterson cracking down on illegal dumping

The city of Paterson, New Jersey, is cracking down on illegal dumping after finding boats, large appliances, and other trash abandoned on city streets. Officials say people are discarding costly-to-remove items to avoid proper disposal fees?forcing taxpayers to foot the bill.
