Mayor Adams responds to Cuomo's Mayoral bid
New York City Mayor Eric Adams is taking his first public swipe at former Governor Andrew Cuomo since Cuomo announced his mayoral campaign over the weekend. Speaking at City Hall, Adams dismissed concerns over his poll numbers and said his record speaks for itself. When pressed on Cuomo’s past controversies, including allegations of sexual harassment and underreported nursing home deaths during COVID-19, Adams said Cuomo “has to answer that” on the campaign trail.
