NYC roads plagued by potholes
As winter weather moves into the Tri-State area, New York City drivers are dealing with a worsening pothole problem. Auto shops are seeing a surge in damaged tires and suspensions, while experts warn that the freeze-thaw cycle will only make things worse. The NYC Department of Transportation says it has filled 500,000 potholes in the past three years, but many drivers say it’s not enough.
