Federal court moves TikTok closer to U.S. ban

TikTok is one step closer to being banned in the U.S. after a federal appeals court ruled that the app poses a national security risk. The Chinese-owned platform, with over 170 million U.S. users, has until January 19 to secure a domestic buyer or face removal from app stores.
