Moderna working on new COVID vaccine booster

Moderna is hoping to offer updated COVID-19 boosters in the fall that would combine its original vaccine with protection against variants. Moderna says that people who were given the combo shot produce more antibodies capable of fighting several variants, including omicron, compared to the regular boosters.
