Tonga volcano explosion causes tsunami alert for U.S. west coast

An undersea volcano has erupted in spectacular fashion near the Pacific nation of Tonga. Following the eruption, a tsunami advisory was issued for Hawaii, Alaska and the U.S. Pacific coast.
