Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida on February 14, 2018, killing 17 and injuring 17 others. Cruz, who was 19 years old at the time of the shooting, pleaded guilty to all charges in 2021 and apologized for his actions.
