For the second day in a row, a body was pulled from the waters in Central Park. Police said a park worker found the body of a man in his 30s floating in The Pond near East 59th Street and 5th Avenue at about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. On Tuesday, the NYPD found a decomposed body 30 blocks away in the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir near Central Park West and 90th Street. That body was under water for at least a month. The NYPD does not believe either man was a victim of a crime, Boyce said.

The NYPD released the name and a photo of the suspect wanted for allegedly viciously beating and sexually assaulting a German tourist in Harlem. The NYPD identified the suspect as Keon Robinson, 28, an ex-con. He is a Level 3 sex offender who was arrested for a similar crime in 2007, Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said. He served seven years in prison for that attack.

The NYPD is investigating a shooting in Lower Manhattan Monday afternoon that apparently started as a dispute between two men. The argument between the men started in Battery Park, then moved to the street, where gunfire erupted at about 3:15 p.m. in front of 17 Battery Place, police said.

The NYPD maintained a visible presence for Passover outside Central Synagogue in Midtown. At Park East Synagogue, counterterrorism officers not only watched who went in, but also who walked by. The number of private security on site at Temple Emanu-El has been doubled. Sources told Fox 5 unmarked plainclothes officers are in the area as well as constant mobile patrols instead of fixed-post officers.
