Mets usher, 91, hasn't lost faith

Luke Gasparre, 91, of Astoria, Queens, has been an usher for the NY Mets since 1964. He started working at Shea Stadium and currently works at CitiField.

He has a message for Mets fans after going 0-2 in the World Series against the Kansas City Royals.

"The Mets somehow got spark in them and here we are at the World Series. Never underestimate the New York Mets," said Gasparre.

The World War II veteran who has awarded a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for his bravery can be found in section 310 near right field.

"Let's go Mets!" said Gasparre.
