Giants fire McAdoo
NEW YORK - The New York Giants fired head coach Ben McAdoo on Monday.
The team also fired general manager Jerry Reese, according to the NFL Network.
The firings came a day after the Giants lost 24-17 to the Oakland Raiders, dropping their record to 2-10 in a year some thought the team would make a push for the Super Bowl.
It also came a day after quarterback Eli Manning sat on the sidelines instead of playing for the first time in 13 seasons.
McAdoo had a 13-16 record in his time as head coach of the Giants.
