Young girl struck in Queens hit-and-run

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - The NYPD is on the hunt for the driver of the vehicle that struck a girl and fled the scene in Jamaica, Queens.

The incident occurred at about 12:30 p.m. on Friday in the area of 101st Ave.

The girl suffered minor injuries. Her exact sage is unclear, said police.

The vehicle was described as a blue Honda Civic.
