Truck deliveries in Midtown will be restricted on World Cup match days

NEW YORK - Truck deliveries in Midtown will be restricted on World Cup match days, according to Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
Restricted delivery hours due to World Cup
What we know:
Truck deliveries will be limited during the following days and times:
- 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. on June 13 (Saturday)
- 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 16 (Tuesday)
- 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. on June 22 (Monday)
- 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on June 25 (Thursday)
- 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on June 27 (Saturday)
- 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on June 30 (Tuesday)
- 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on July 5 (Sunday)
- 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on July 19 (Sunday)
The restrictions will be in place for any location between 30th and 60th Streets, from the East River to the Hudson River.
These restrictions only apply to trucks, except for essential delivery providers that are delivering:
- life and safety (deliveries to hospitals, fire or police departments)
- critical commercial and community services (deliveries to shelters or care facilities, post office, waste collections)
- public health (related to pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biohazards)
- core infrastructure and utility operations (related to electricity, water, sewer, fuel, telecommunications, airport or transit)
- labor-law and workplace safety compliance
- and direct FIFA event operations
